Our favourite fibre pasta recipes!

Hello everyone,

To celebrate the launch of our new fibre pasta range - the Glutafin team thought it would be an excellent idea to share some of our favourite recipes with you, to give you a little inspiration ready for when you receive your first box!

 

Arrabbiata Sauce served with Glutafin Gluten Free Fibre Spaghetti

 

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Temperature: High temperature 

Serves: 2

 

Ingredients:

  • 200g Glutafin Fibre spaghetti 
  • 1 can of tinned tomatoes 
  • 2 tsp tomato puree
  • 5 chopped cherry tomatoes 
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • A pinch of Italian seasoning 
  • A pinch of ground black pepper 
  • A sprinkle of fresh basil to serve 

 

Method:

1. Allow 100g pasta per person.

2. Bring a pan of water to the boil.

3. When boiling add the fibre spaghetti

4. Cook for 8-10 minutes 

5. Meanwhile, prepare the Arrabbiata Sauce. In another pan add the tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, chopped onion, garlic and cherry tomatoes.  Leave to simmer for two minutes.

6. Next add the crushed red pepper flakes, lemon juice, Italian seasoning and ground black pepper. Leave to simmer for another two minutes.

7. When cooked, drain the pasta in a colander then rinse with cold water.

8. Serve in a pasta bowl and ladle the sauce on top. 

9. Sprinkle with a little fresh basil and enjoy! 

 

Fibre Fusilli Pasta with Spinach and Sundried Tomato Pesto

 

 

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Temperature: High temperature 

Serves: 2

 

 

Ingredients:

200g Glutafin Fibre Spaghetti 

3 tbsp pesto

20g pine nuts

A dash of olive oil 

A pinch of salt

A pinch of ground black pepper 

10 chopped cherry tomatoes 

50g Spinach leaves 

20g Sliced parmesan cheese 

 

Method:

1. Allow 100g of fibre spaghetti per person.

2. Bring a pan of water to the boil.

3. When boiling add the fibre fusilli pasta and cook for 8-9 minutes.

4. Meanwhile in a separate bowl prepare the pasta filling. Add the pesto, pine nuts, a dash of olive oil, a pinch of salt and ground black pepper and chopped cherry tomatoes and spinach leaves and stir together. 

5. When the pasta is cooked, drain and rinse with cold water. Add the pasta to the filling ingredients and combine.

6. Top with thin slices of parmesan cheese and enjoy!
