Nutty Fibre Flake Slice

 

         

 

Ingredients

100g Glutafin Gluten Free Fibre flakes

1 can condensed milk (397g)

50g gluten free oats*

100g cashews/peanuts

100g cranberries and raisins

*refer to Coeliac UK handbook

 

Method

  1. Mix oats, nuts, fibre flakes and dried fruit together in a plastic food bag before breaking up slightly by bashing with the end of a rolling pin.

  2. Heat the condensed milk until it loosens and mix in the dry ingredients.

  3. Add more fibre flakes if the mixture is a little wet

  4. Place into a lined baking tin and bake for 40 minutes on 130C.

  5. Allow to cool for 15 minutes once out of the oven before serving.

 

 

Chocolate Cornflake Cakes

 

       

 

Ingredients

Glutafin Gluten Free Cornflakes (around 250g)

150g marshmallows

150g milk chocolate

2 tbsp golden syrup

 

 

Method

  1. Place marshmallows, golden syrup and chocolate in a bowl and place over a pan of boiling water, stirring occasionally. Don’t let it get too hot as the chocolate could burn.

  2. Mix in the cornflakes until the mixture covers them, keep adding cornflakes until the mixture is stiff and all cornflakes are covered.

  3. Place into muffin cases or one tin and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
